A pedestrian sidewalk along Jackson Street in Port Townsend between the Northwest Maritime Center and Jefferson Street (along Point Hudson Marina). Tourists from whale watching vessels and classes of children from the Maritime Center regularly walk this route, which is also a main route for traffic leaving or going in front of the Maritime Center. It's the only way for traffic to go out of the Maritime Center. Although it's a 5 mph speed limit, it's very dangerous for pedestrians - especially the little kids walking to sailing/boating lessons.

Hi Lucas. Thank you for your comments! I would like to point out that your sidewalk suggestion is in Port Townsend, which has its own SpeakUp webpage located: http://speakuppt.us/ . You should submit your comment to their idea page to ensure that it is seen by the city and your neighbors!
